Job Description

Job Purpose:

To lead in the development, planning, organizing, leading, and supervision of Administrative and Training needs for shipboard crew.

Responsibility & accountability:

 

  • Identify and ensure the provision of all administrative related needs to shipboard crew.
  • Coordinate with Administration section in regards to visas, permits, housing, tickets, etc… of all expatriates and/or outsourced personnel on shipboard.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and safekeeping of administrative services documents and files.
  • Identify core competencies of shipboard crew with the Nautical Manager ? Co and identify training needs accordingly.
  • Conduct yearly training assessment needs in coordination with Superintendent Manager to meet STCW requirements.
  • Design and develop training and development programs based on the organization’s and the individual’s needs in coordination with Learning & Development Officer.
  • Establish training plans and programs, present it, and get the required approval prior to proceeding.
  • Manage crew’s enrollment in selected training programs, and follow-up on their post-training feedback.
  • Assess the training feedback received and its effectiveness and report it to the Nautical Manager.
  • Ensure the Administration of Flag State Affairs concerning all crew related matters.
  • To monitor & keep proper record of all certificates & expiration dates.
  • Develop manpower plan by consolidating manpower needs across the shipboard department.
  • Ensure proper manning timely and accurately and maintain rotation profile as required.
  • Supervise the working hours and shifts along with vacations of floating crew.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

To be responsible for processing and analyzing data including CCTV and mange system controls to ensure compliance with data protection protocols. Prepare reports which will assist the Management in taking decisions. Using data from OCC and other partners including driver behavior data to identify strategic targets in service improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be the business intelligence data officer for all data held and produced by IVMS, AVM, AFC, the OCC, Engineering and operation department to review, validate and maintain all generated reports from the systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of all data held by the business Intelligence Unit.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the business intelligence unit.
  • Participate in team briefings, operator working groups and the employee development and performance management schemes. Work closely with management and other stakeholders in the development and administration of the service.
  • Interrogate data and produce reports in support with the business Intelligence unit activities.
  • Producing reports and trend analysis on matters as guided by the BI Supervisor and the management.
  • Ensure all activity is in line with the OCC and BI Data Protection Protocols
  • Work closely with relevant department on the development of new data and ensure the use of advanced data analysis methodologies.

  • To strive for continuous improvement in the data collection and reporting system which would enable more effective decisions to support system.
  • Processing of all CCTV applications through a secure system ensuring full control in one single location
  • Knowledge of conducting investigation as required and handle all complaints through the Data Release process, ensuring all data is secure and processed within the guidance of the Management.
  • Any other assigned duties as requested by the BI Supervisor.
  • The business Intelligence officer maybe be expected on occasions to work for flexible hours.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

To ensure first class maintenance and repair of Mwasalat vehicles and carry out the Preventative and corrective maintenance of /Mwasalat Vehicles in order to ensure safe and reliable vehicles for uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • To carry out regular preventive maintenance activities for all/any /Mwasalat vehicle types in order to ensure vehicle availability as per operations requirement.
  • To carry out corrective maintenance activities for all/any /Mwasalat vehicle types in order to ensure vehicle availability as per operations requirement.
  • To diagnose, service, repair and or replace all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical vehicle components under the instruction of the charge-hand/Supervisor or any line Manager.
  • To test and verify vehicle’s condition by conducting test drives and other test/checks before releasing any vehicle to operations department.
  • To complete all required documentation as per Supervisor or any line Managers instructions.
  • To perform any other duties and responsibilities within your capability as instructed by a Charge-hand/Supervisor or any line Manager.
  • To adhere to all QHSE policies and guidelines in the workplace. To wear Personal Protective Equipment at all times whilst on duty within /Mwasalat premises.
  • To attend any training courses offered to enhance work related knowledge as instructed by a Charge-hand/Supervisor or any line manager.
  • To attend any road side assistance call in any location that /Mwasalat vehicles operate.
  • To operate / drive any /Mwasalat vehicles, example Recovery, Forklift and Pick-up truck (License Permitted) as instructed by a Charge-hand/supervisor or any line Manager.
  • Place of work is at any /Mwasalat office, depot or workshop within the Sultanate of Oman, location to be at the discretion of Mwasalat Management.
  • To respond to various issues/breakdown and restore vehicles so as to ensure uninterrupted operations by allocating manpower and resources and by coordinating with the operations department.
  • Normal working hours will be 45 hours per week worked on a rostered shift basis covering 24 hours, seven days per week.
  • Any other assigned duties from time to time.
